I baby sit. Yes, it's true, taking care of kids was always my authentic vocation, I was only in denial, til now.

No, no, it was a joke, a bad one, mom, relax, I'm ok, but if you want to send me some money my credit card number is 489283.....
My biological clock is still asleep, I still don't fancy the idea of having my own kids and if I would have this job I would probably have a nervous break down per hour. My mom was a kindergarten teacher, until this day I still think she has nerves problems because of that. She must have, or else I can't explain why she constantly mentions "please be silent/stay put" each time her cat (technically my former cat) moves.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with having kids, don't murder me PETA for kids!

Anyways, long story short, so that you know, I'm not the Cruella version for kids and I feel something, let's call it love just for the sake of this monologue (I'm kidding, it's real love! , yes, I'm sure), for certain little creatures that are present in my life. One of them is Eric (look up), Delia's beautiful kid!

And since I don't have my own to brag with, I'm gonna do it with hers. Actually, I'll let you be the judge, I'm gonna copy/paste a letter Eric wrote for his mother the other day.

"Mom, I love you even when you are mean. I love animals and all the living creatures but I love you too. Take note that I will make a drawing for you and I will build you a Lego. THE TWITTER ISSUE

I saw something about Twitter on Facebook yesterday (how does this sound?!?!) and got me thinking why I didn't made a twitter account until now. Actually, I made two but never used them.

Here's a truth about me: I was totally against any kind of social network. I never had a hi5 and I made a Facebook only because I was bored that day, boredom always makes me do all sorts of idiotic things, as you all have seen.

Twitter sounds kind of stupid, although is much more easier to create a community, but writing "I just took my trash", "I bought this/that", "Going to the movie" , it's just not my thing. Maybe because when I have to say something I have to use lots of useless words.

Instagram is Twitter with pictures.
I got bored of it at the beginning of last year.

I know we live in an era when individuality has never been more accentuated by our choices, the places we visit, the food we eat, the concerts we go to, the books we read. And for this, we have, I don't know, I've just counted my share button and there are more than 40 social networks to share things with just here. But how do you know how to handle things so that you can keep the balance between having fun and becoming addicted?

Instagram has not become an addiction, yet, the proof being only those pics that I took in almost a year, through it.

Now, if you guys know how I can get rid of my Facebook addiction, in a manner that doesn't shock me for life, like deactivating my account, please feel free to suggest. Although I may quit smoking sooner that quitting this F drug.

Also she really acts like my bigger sister, cause every time I'm in some mess she pulls me right out of it in a second plus she wraps by birthday gifts separately (I'm troubled, leave me alone)

Still loving bottles!

In 2001 when the guys from Experimental Jetset created the archetypal band shirt, with the first names of the members from The Ramones, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, they didn't think that their Helvetica print will become so hipsterish.

Since then, lots of variations of this print appeared on the web. From "mom& dad& granny &kid" to names of posh or underground clubs as in Laura's take.

Here's how I ended up doing mine:

If you are a little bit astute and you take a slight look through this pointless blog you can easily conclude that I wasn't a big fan of printed t-shirts. Further more, if I may speak honestly, I was a passionate hater.

Well, it's called Karma and I've heard it's a b**ch (I'm still asking myself if I'm allowed to use dirty words here. I imagine that if I write some dirty words my laptop will answer me like Siri - "No need for profanity Ana!").

I always thought that I will die in a pleated skirt with a silk blouse on top, spiced with some flowery jewels. Well, like most of the times, I was wrong. Although I will never give up feminine clothes, now, I see myself updating that characteristic with all sorts of pants (bleah, I haven't worn pants since high school), all kinds of minimalist accents and more laid back clothes, t-shirts included.

So I said to myself "If you have to have a printed t-shirt, at least have one that actually says something and has a special meaning for you" (that's what I also said almost a decade ago when I decided to tattoo my boyfriend's initial on my thigh! the road trips to the laser clinic a year later were a "blast")

Why I've chosen them?

Their sites and brands raised my interest from the beginning. Their owners inspire me. Their dedication, perseverance and ethics are attributes that I admire immensely (and I don't posses, obviously).

I don't know exactly if I love or hate addictions but I can be sure that it's a fact that I have many. Some of them are highly important ones and some of them are just seasonal.

I would have nonsensed more on the subject but I have to run like hell at the atelier. I woke up late again, this being another addiction of mine.

So, let's see my daily "things I cannot live without"

1. Stella McCartney sunglasses - I can't step outside without sunglasses, I stupidly imagine myself in True Blood

2. Love by Kilian perfume - no words, ok, a word, there's no guy in this world whom I liked and not loved this perfume!

3. I have a thing with candles, Delia made me an addict.

4. I bought those earrings last month and I haven't taken them off since then.

5. H&M's take on the Repossi ring - <3 till the end of days, ok, I said that like 100 time for many other jewelry pieces, ok, <3 for several months

6. I can't , literally I can't stay three hours without using hand cream.

7. Lip Balms - I was really addicted a few years ago, now, I'm sort of healed but I still have around twenty in the house

8. Phone - Me.

9. Cigarettes - I'm so gonna be strong and quit, sometime in this life.

10. You know there are some girls that know how to cook? Well, I hate them! I kid, I envy them cause I'm a complete ~~fuck up~~ left handed in the kitchen, that's why I balance that with lots of dedication in my home decoration activities. This scent flavors the place.

THE NOT SO FRIENDLY FRIEND

Keep calm people! This is not a cheesy post about friendship.
And although I may sound cynical, I'm really not.

I think if someone would ask Adina to describe me she would probably use the phrase from the post title. My life experience has taught me that people come into your life, stay a while and maybe at one point they leave. And it's nothing wrong with that. It's called evolution. And maybe you do not evolve in the same direction as some of your friends. Growing apart is as normal as growing together.

The minute you'll stop expecting and live in the moment you'll be free.

"The best friend" - what's that? Did you ever think about how much this label limits you? I think it's very important to have many people around you, as diverse as they can be, cause your ability to learn and absorb information multiplies immensely.

Adina and me, we're not "best friends", we were partners long before we became friends, we're not constantly together and we don't go out with the same crowds. We respect each others freedom and individuality. That's why when we meet, it's always a little party, yes, we laugh, yes, we bitch about everyone else (like we all do), yes, we act snobbishly without reason (no, my father is not a Lord) and at the end of the day, we return to our lives, smiling and tasting what a real and honest friendship should be.

It took me a lot of time but I'm very proud of myself for being able to think this way, I don't own the philosopher's stone, chill.

To all of you who were my friends and are not anymore...Thank you! For entering my life and also for leaving it.

THE NEW BREED

Yep, there's a new breed of kids around.
They are different indeed and I've noticed that everybody who meets one of their kind gets instantly mesmerized.

What makes them different?

- they use Facebook not for showing of what they eat or how they dress but to share books they've read, movies they saw or modern art exhibits they visited. They also don't check in from five to five minutes (I had to point this out, burn me)

- they are very passionate and informed on subjects such as modern art, fashion, travels and literature.

- they are always ahead of trends and when those trends became mainstream they don't give up on them just because they became so.

- they love the underground scene but don't trash the commercial one.

- they have a certain self-confidence, a cool, laid-back attitude.

- they don't label people easily.

But the most important characteristic of these new kind of young adults is by far, their common sense and the respect they have for the people around them.

It takes a lot of maturity and wisdom to acknowledge that you're not the center of the universe.
God knows I don't posses that much...

Yes people, for you to see the outfits, it's exactly the reason why I'm not wearing a coat. Yes, I know it's winter, yes, I have frozen to death. So, no "but didn't you got iced there?" comments needed (vague smile).

Well, since it was my birthday, yesterday and the day before (half of my family says I was born on 18 and at the hospital, they accidentally put 19 on my birth certificate, the other half says that this half is crazy, you don't wanna know!).

There's a silent war around here and personally, it kinda bores me.

1. Motivul pentru care eu nu public pe blog-ul meu articole de critica/news despre moda este pt ca nu consider ca detin informatiile necesare pentru a emite o parere pertinenta. As vrea sa-mi spuneti care sunt dupa parerea voastra atributele pe care trebuie sa le posede un blogger cand scrie despre fashion la modul informativ.

A scrie despre fashion la modul informativ presupune, în primul rând, o documentare foarte amplă pe subiectele pe care le abordezi şi, în al doilea, capacitatea de a sistematiza informaţia astfel încât acesta să fie accesibilă cititorilor. Asta implică un grad mare de curiozitate, pasiune pentru domeniu, dar şi obiectivitate. Este important să fii organizat, selectiv (în funcţie de target-ul blogului) şi să verifici informaţia din mai multe surse pentru a o reda cu acurateţe.

2. Ati reusit intr-un timp foarte scurt sa va impuneti ca fiind o voce care comunica faptele “as they are” fara a va lasa influentati de favoritisme, motiv pentru care ati starnit si starniti atat reactii positive dar si negative. Aceste reactii va motiveaza sau va scad din doza de entuziasm avuta in faza incipienta?

Feedback-ul este foarte important, mai ales în online. Cel negativ, exprimat prin comentarii mai mult sau mai puţin răutăcioase, prin aluzii pe reţelele de socializare sau prin reacţii neprietenoase în viaţa reală, ne-a învăţat să nu luăm personal orice remarcă şi ne-a ambiţionat să ne continuăm treaba cu şi mai multă scrupulozitate. Desigur, cel pozitiv vine întotdeauna ca o recompensă pentru lucrul bine făcut.

3. Exista o vadita competitie intre aceste doua categorii de blog-uri si mai ales exista o rivalitate exprimata destul de agresiv si pe alocuri penibil. Aceste reactii provin in mare parte dinspre tabara jurnalistilor de moda, detinatori de blog-uri. De ce credeti ca se intampla asta?

Nu credem că există o competiţie reală între blogurile de stil personal şi cele informative, tocmai pentru că modalitatea de exprimare este diferită. Avantajul blogurilor de stil personal este că personajele sunt mult mai vizibile şi îşi câştigă mult mai facil notorietatea, pentru că pot să se adreseze foarte uşor unui public internaţional. Problema vine, cel mai probabil, dintr-o neînţelegere clară a statutului pe care fiecare vrea să-l obţină: jurnaliştii ajung lideri de opinie, în timp ce blogerii de stil personal devin surse de inspiraţie vestimentară.

4. Ce beneficii (in afara de statisfactia personala) va poate aduce faptul ca incet, incet, deveniti o voce demna de luat in seama pe scena jurnalistilor de lifestyle and fashion din Romania?

În cazul nostru, beneficiile materiale nu sunt deocamdată, notabile. Cel mai important este că am reuşit să stabilim nişte relaţii fireşti cu persoane din domeniu, că putem avea acces la evenimentele de modă care ne interesează şi că munca noastră a fost apreciată în diferite publicaţii.

5. „ Ipostaza in care un fashion journalism blogger pretinde beneficii materiale in schimbul publicarii pe blog a unor informatii este mai verticala decat vanzarea de spatiu publicitar pe blog-urile de personal style. „

Este o afirmatie emisa de unul dintre jurnalistii de moda din Romania, care activeaza in mediul online. Care este parerea voastra raportat la aceasta afirmatie?

Până la urmă, ambele categorii de bloggeri încearcă să îşi „vândă” publicul. Important este să încerci să găseşti modalitatea cea mai avantajoasă astfel încât informaţia să nu fie trunchiată şi publicul să resimtă cât mai puţin influenţa advertiserilor. Este penibil când scrii despre brand-uri internaţionale premium şi vinzi spaţiu publicitar unor brand-uri de calitate îndoielnică. Cu alte cuvinte, credem că informaţia şi publicitatea se pot îmbina armonios dacă ştii cum să păstrezi standardele.

1.Cum crezi că e mai comod să îţi câştigi notorietatea : să postezi fotografii cu tine în diverse ţinute sau să scrii texte consistente despre subiecte legate de modă ?

Prima este legata in mare parte de simtul tau estetic si de informatie. Pentru a doua ipostaza este nevoie de studiu, documentare si multe ore petrecute in fata calculatorului. Q.E.D.

2. Imaginea pe care ti-ai construit-o pe blog este aceeasi cu cea pe care o ai in viata reala?

Incepeand cu hainele pe care le vedeti pe blog si pana la franturile de cotidian expuse, High Street Cardigans este prelungirea publica a existentei mele necosmetizate. Pentru o mai buna acuratete a raspunsului ati putea sa faceti un sondaj de opinie printre oamenii aflati in imediata mea apropiere.

3. Eşti foarte prolifică în activitatea de pe blog. Asta presupune că îţi ‘alimentezi’ constant garderoba cu piese pe care le porţi, poate, o singură dată. În ce măsură crezi că te transformă acest fapt într-o victimă a modei ?

Daca una dintre conotatiile acestei etichete se refera la dorinta permanenta a unui individ de a se inconjura de lucruri frumoase, imi asum acest stigmat. Daca vorbim despre depersonalizare si achizitia pieselor vestimentare impulsiv si in neconcordanta cu personalitatea ta, nu cred ca este aplicabila in cazul meu. Desi este normal ca evolutia noastra la nivel de individ sa se reflecte si pe plan vestimentar, cu o singura accesare a blog-ului meu o sa constatati ca existe anumite atribute care sunt o constanta in evolutia mea stilistica.

4. Ai ajuns să resimţi faptul că activitatea ta devine mai mult o obligaţie faţă de advertiseri decât un hobby ?

In nici un moment. Imi place mult ceea ce fac cu High Street Cardigans. Desi la prima vedere poate fi catalogata drept frivola, aceasta activitate a reusit sa ma disciplineze si sa-mi impuna o anumita rigurozitate zilnica care s-a dovedit a fi benefica si constructiva pentru mine.

5. De ce consideri ca blogurile de personal style sunt importante pentru industria modei?

Cred ca impreuna cu blogurile de street style au reusit sa prezinte aceasta industie unui public vast intr-un mod comprehensibil.

Based on the saying "home it's not about feeling safe, it's about acknowledging who you are!" here's what I figured out yesterday, while being accidentally locked inside my house... (to be properly filled in read this )

- NOW is the most interesting time of all

- I really need a haircut (but I'm strong, I can do this! I can let my hair grow)

- my day would have been awesome if Super was locked inside the house with me

I accidentally locked myself inside, yesterday. In the most stupidest manner.

I'm ok, the locksman will come in no time. Thank God for founding this tiara, now I can pretend that I'm a broken princess and everything will be okkk.

He said that he will be here in an hour(the locksman that is). Two have passed! There's something fishy about this guy! (I'm a Miss Marple fan)

After 5 hours you start to stupidly smile out of no reason and dream of xanax.

Why is this happening to me?!? Is it because I'm a huge procrastinator? The universe is punishing me?

After 8 hours, no laptop battery and a dysfunction to the wireless lan (thank you Delia for forgetting your stick at my place! Some accidents are for the best, except when your key falls from your hand out of the window and you are locked inside!)

I couldn't bare the pressure anymore!

THE CLEANSING DIET

If you thought at this you might consider yourself a little intuitive or an every day visitor (if so, you deserve my infinite gratitude, I mean it) So yes, I have a black outfits period. Leave me alone.

I have mails and comments about The amazing/awesome/astonishing Diet!

Well, let's see. It's kind of easy, basically you stop eating! Anything!

Seriously now (don't relax, you still can't eat! Anything!).

What I did and still have to do is a 41 days cleansing program based on liquids,especially vegetable juices, more specific, beetroot juice. It's sick and I couldn't do it so on my fourth day I included all sorts of vegetable juices and soups. Ofc you have to drink lots of water between meals (that consists in flavored water=soups or vegetable juices, as being pointed above).

You have to take a multivitamin pill every morning.

The effect : I feel the urge to kill people on the street and I smoke 2 packs of cigarettes/day (habit that will remain a memory starting next week) but I also have cleaner skin, I feel energized, light,calm and ofc thinner.

I'm only on my 23 rd day. I stopped during the holidays, predictable, I know.

Now, before you run to the fridge and throw all your food away, you should know that before doing this I consulted a nutritionist and this cleansing diet was made after my own body analysis and it may not do you good or work for you.

Closing word: It's hard like hell! (please hear my not joking voice when you read this) And if you start doing this driven by the loosing weight factor please think twice.

I forgot to tell you another aspect, I'll tell you tomorrow, now I have to count cheeseburgers instead of sheep and try to sleep.

our dresses where worn by the most beautiful ladies,

and realized that we make a great team.

Finally, we wanted to show you the women who inspired us this year and we took their picture for the last Snobbish Breakfast lookbook of the year - shoot by the one and only - Lightaholic

and just in time for Christmas we had the last Snobbish Breakfast event this year, in Brasov.

Well, as you can see and as I had already told you ,last year was a roller coaster ride.

I moved in a new city, worked my butt off, learned a lot, moved from one apartment to another and still couldn't find the one that I love (yes, I'm f*** ed up and picky), made some friends and dined with new enemies.

In the end, all I can say is, if last year was a roller coaster success, well, look up, this year I'll make sure to double that! (wink! wink? yes, I love hipsters)

Now, 2011 was an amazing year for me. I'm grateful for all the experiences and changes that last year brought into my life. I met amazing people, did lots of friends and worked my ass of (worked my ass off = 2 gray hairs, only 4 days of vacation and waking up at 7 am daily).

5 ways to look older and wasted

1. Go to bed at 6 am and wake up at 14.00 pm for five days.

2. Within an hour mix prosecco with vodka and beer. The rest of the night you'll dink cocktails and wine. For effective success it should be done in five days.

3. Forget to turn your heat on, for five days, so that in the morning when you get up you'll feel completely iced.

4. Smoke 2/3 packs of cigarettes per day, five days in a row.

5. Eat only raw food and vegetable juices for a month, after that, replace raw food with junk food for five days.

Where were we? Ahhh, it's the second day of Christmas and I was planning to pretend it's not!

Well, ok, first, I just woke up, second, I have tons of books beside me and I my apartment is very, very close to a McDonald's , so I can skip the traditional food too. Then I can scoop in my Arad wardrobe for some forgotten treasures, after that, I can do the same with my grandma's wardrobe.

I can make a bucket list, plan my diet(liquids! I see Burger King in my dreams), spend time with Super (you do remember him I hope) and water my plants.

So there you have it. This is how I'm gonna pass through this holiday acknowledging the fact that I don't like it but counting out the drama queening.

I've just found these pics and I remembered how much I love autumn/smoking/Lightaholic/my old Iphone/those tights/jewelry/that bag.

One of the negative aspects of not living in your hometown is that every time you have a few free days instead of spending them traveling the world, you have to run to the airport and get home.

This was my life this past year and you know what? I loved every minute about it.
I left hating that city and all the people in it. Now, every time I get back I feel that sweet melancholy mixed with the love I feel when I see my friends,my godson and my home. (although it's sort of too many pink there, why didn't you tell me I was that cheesy last year?)

I moved out of my parents house when I was sixteen years old and we had the dinner in the family discussing about the economical situation in Bolivia type of relationship since ever. Now, when I get home and I visit them, we smile at each other, and the smile is sincere.

Well, I'm telling you all of this because, predictable, I'm on my way home for Christmas.
I forgot when I started hating this holiday. A long period of time I though that I hate it cause it makes me feel special, but no, that's not the case. It saddens me deeply and that's a fact!

But this year will be different! I came out with an evil plan.
First, I'll throw a monster party at my house on Saturday, the preparations and the outfit, yes, I'm superficial, will take the whole day, so I won't have time for developing imaginary dramas. A few glasses of prosecco mixed with vodka and on Sunday I be so hungover that I won't even remember that it's Christmas.

I'm still thinking how to skip the second day of Christmas. Will keep you posted.

We're working on a new capsule collection on a tight schedule, the new atelier is not ready yet and we have to deliver 15 dresses by Wednesday. Hectic is the word of the day.

A few weeks ago I received in my inbox, a special/surprising email. It was from Iohanna, 121.ro's PR. She told me that at 121 headquarters everyone reads my blog and besides that they love my style (she said that! ok?!) they also like the fact that it's full of daily positive energy that people can relate too.

I'm always humbled by people's interest in my blog. Especially because I do this for fun and because it's the only thing I didn't get bored of. I have a problem regarding discipline and this is my only "activity" where I proved constancy (Anca would be proud). Talking properly on a subject however is not. Focus Ana, focus!

Ok, so when they asked me if I want to speak at one of their events(they have weekly meetings on different subjects as books, self motivation, gym classes, fashion and so on) about my daily wears and what inspires me when I buy clothes, I was excited and said yes.
They didn't settled with yes and asked me to bring some of my last acquisitions and explain how I incorporate basics in the seasonal trends.

I had tremendous fun (must have been the wine! God, I'm turning into a little permanent tipsy person) and the night ended with changing phone numbers with all the wonderful ladies who put up with my senseless explanations.

Did you know that the third worse stress factor in the world for people is relocation and all the fuss and organization involved in it?

I always hated moving, although until this year I only moved once, at sixteen , from my parents house to my own. Well, the universe gave me a real reason to loath moving because not only I had to move in another city but from an apartment to another for 4 times. Horror. I lost a pair of earrings at each relocation.

Well, at least I can decorate and redecorate every time. I hope the one I did two weeks ago will do the trick and keep me there at least for four months.

I moved last week (yes, again, don't ask!). Now I live in a building with lots of young people, no, not in a hostel or a foster home, just rentals with cool people, except one. The girl who lives next door of my apartment.

She's like the younger version of my twisted aunt. I hated my aunt.

Since I didn't like her ofc I started bitching with my other cool neighbors about the way she dress, her job, her boyfriend and hobbies. All in all I started judging her like I was a superior specie.

Don't you find it funny how easy it is bitching about others but when it comes to looking at yourself you find excuses for your every stupid or bad act or decision?

Karma: the next day I fell of the stairs like a stupid little mouse, she helped me get up, a total different person from the one who I bitched about a few days ago. Nice, funny, super cool dressed (I'm a little shallow person, you know that). "Hello there, I'm the bitch and I live next door, let me help you get up"

She sort of diplomatically fucked me!

Conclusion:

We're friends now and I apologized for my poor mind and judgemental behaviour and I learned that if you're being bitchy you attract bitchy behaviour and what will you do when you realize that the bitch near you is beatchier than you?

Ok, here it goes...I have a super power! Yes, it's true, I had it my whole life and as I got older it became more powerful and obvious. And because I really love you people I gonna tell you what it is also (relax, I can't see you naked on the street).

by the time he will be 26, I'll be 46...hope is all I have left...until then, I'm his adopted, Cruella aunt.

If you somehow clicked and arrived on this blog more than twice you are already familiar with the fact that my absolute lifestyle highlight is not some fancy hotel or bistro, nor some concept store situated on some fashionable street but a gothic like, deserted garden. And if that garden is situated near a castle it generates the same "wow" for me as a Mary Katrantzou dress does for Anna Dello Russo.

If on top of that you add the sea in autumn then all I can say is fuck fashion! (again). The UGG's from the pics help me sustain that.*

I'll always be the girl now converted into a woman who loves a good fairytale. Even if my fairy tales include decadent countesses and deserted ball rooms instead of pink outfits and white horses.

I never experienced that level of silence like I did in Balchik this past weekend. It was my first weekend in ten months when I ~~finally had the time~~ was forced to completely shut down any form of communication (I facebooked a little from the attic).

I always told Delia that the smartest investment she could have possibly make was buying an apartment there.
It's the perfect place where you can let go of your constant need of validation (please do not bore me and yourself, saying that you don't have it). It's just quiet a place, without fancy clubs and high conceptual restaurants and cafes, also without that lack of manners and hypocrisy that surrounds us at every step in the city.

I'm not gonna start telling how extremely overwhelming were Queen's Mary's gardens or how much common sense and lady likeness those places inspired me. I'll let you discover that by yourself. Why do people dress-up their dogs?

I'm trying to stay open minded here but I can't really figure this shit out. I really don't think they (they = the dogs) like it. It's not comfy for a dog to sleep in a bed gown for Christ's sake. He's natural state is wearing only his fur not some ballerina outfit.

I know everybody wants to feel special by any means(dressing your pet included) but at what point trying to be special and expressing it becomes ridiculous?

Because everything in my world is upside down ofc that I've chosen to take a walk in the park and a boat ride on an autumnal, stormy weather. Oh well, at least it didn't snow.

Got me thinking about what really make us feel peaceful in this consumerist society.

I don't know about you but here is what made me happy and peaceful these last days:

- 2 stray dogs that welcome me every night when I get home (I'm sorry Super but I think I'm becoming a dog person)
- realizing that if I smile my day becomes instantly better
- admitting that I can't stand people who complain constantly and not feeling guilty for that, too much negative energy
- the fireworks(literally) someone close to my heart bought for me
- writing a letter and mailing it to my mom
- taking time for myself

and last but not least, finally gathering in my wardrobe (after years and years of hectic shopping) all the basics I consider important. You didn't think that I lost my shallowness did you?

IL PASSO launched their season collection last week.

Also they now have an online shop, which for people like me, who can't find the time to walk the dog, not to mention shopping, it's a magnificent news.

Diana (right, you all know Stella by now) is my childhood friend, she lives in Cluj now so every time we have the chance to meet I feel "home". Do have the same feeling when you meet people that remind you of who you were or how simple things where when you were little?

Yesterday I had one of those days. No, I'm not talking about that time of the month. I'm talking about that moment when you see something that sadness you deeply and at the same time makes you realize how lucky you really are.

A kid approached me on the street, he was selling flowers and postcards...I had thousands of clothes and shoes that I never even wore when I was little and some kids are forced to go out in the street and beg or work...

This is not a post where I tell you to make a donation to some named organization, also I realize that I have a personal style blog and that here we laugh and don't take things too seriously all the time (although when I say that I mostly refer to fashion and appearances).

What I'm trying to say is please be present in your life and don't waste your time being constantly focused on the things you don't have, it leaves no time to be grateful for the things you already do.

And from now and then don't forget to give back, even if by giving back you understand smiling to the nice, old lady who sells you coffee every morning, giving your seat to someone else in the subway or calling your high school teacher just to say "hello, I didn't forget you and I wanna thank you for teaching me some important lessons in life!"

You owe it to yourself...

I for one, I bought all that kid's flowers. I didn't changed much but I made him smile. After all, the little things are the ones who make the biggest difference. And you know what? They don't cost anything and work as an instant smile for you too ;)

Last week I was invited along with other fashion editors and stylists to SUN PLAZA for their "Fall in Fashion" Event.

We had to choose a trend and then search the stores to find the perfect items to portray it in an outfit.

You already know that I'm a skirt/dress girl. Well, this last season I was a pleated skirt girl.

I'll always love flirty, lady like dresses. But there comes a time when you feel the need to change a little, even stylistically.
That's why this season I will pair, well, yes, still all my 42 pleated skirt with ankle boots, structural jackets and minimalist blouses, and Ellos online catalogue is the perfect virtual place where I can start shopping for my long desired ankle biker boots.

I'll show you how the updated outfits turned out.

fuck fashion

I always considered myself an animal lover. Recently I discovered I'm not, I never was. I only loved MY animals. Maybe because I always thought that love is a feeling that comes with time...bottom line, there's no love in me for any kind of animal since I left Super(THE cat) in Arad.

That's why when Adina told me that she has a surprise for me and that surprise is horse riding classes I wasn't all joyful. I mean, it always was on my bucket list but last week all I wanted to do was crawl under a blanket.

Anyways, long story short, we went.

It was breathless, I never thought that we can find something like this in Romania and thanks to Adina, I found out that I can get attached to other animals too.

That's it, I've decided, from now on I'm not buying bags or other useless stuff, I'm going to Danes!

Here are some little glimpses.

He's Cristi! Our horse trainer. Okkkk, all together now.....yammmyyyyyyy!

Delphis has a very rare color. And in two years Cristi said that he will be completely white. He is also my favorite because he's very friendly with everybody and he's the best training horse there.
